Decades of war have left Cambodia's fields littered with brass casings from bullets and bombshells.

Our artisan partners transform this recycled brass into beautifully-designed jewelry. Young women and men learn, create, and practice the skill of jewelry-design, while earning a sustainable income for themselves and their families.

The hooks are made of brass and all jewelry is coated with a galvanic bath of water-based paint imported from Italy. The jewelry stays shinny and beautiful longer if it does not come into contact with soaps, perfumes or skin creams. If they lose the covering varnish and oxidize, they can be cleaned with a regular brass cleaning product.
