María Jesús Contreras is an illustrator who was born and raised in the south of Chile. Her illustrations feature vibrant and saturated colours, paying homage to the aesthetics of the 1970s and 1990s, showcased through her unique risograph/grainy artwork style. In 2022, she was honoured with the Young Guns Award from The One Club for Creativity, and in 2023 and 2025, she served as a judge for the Latin American Design Awards and the Young Guns Awards.
